1E me disse: Quando Israel canta o Shemá Yisrael na terra.

1And he said to me: When Israel sings the Shema Yisrael on earth.

2Todos os exércitos celestiais se calam para ouvir.

2All the heavenly hosts fall silent to listen.

3E esperam que Israel termine, e então eles também respondem: Santo, Santo, Santo!

3And they wait for Israel to finish, and then they too respond: Holy, Holy, Holy!

4E toda a criação treme diante da majestade do Santo, bendito seja.

4And all creation trembles before the majesty of the Holy One, blessed be He.
