1Disse Rabi Ismael: Quando vi tudo isto, minha alma quase deixou meu corpo.

1Rabbi Ishmael said: When I saw all this, my soul nearly left my body.

2Porque não podia suportar a intensidade da visão.

2Because I could not bear the intensity of the vision.

3Mas Metatron me fortaleceu e disse: Não temas, servo do Santo, bendito seja.

3But Metatron strengthened me and said: Fear not, servant of the Holy One, blessed be He.

4Porque te é permitido ver, para que contes às gerações futuras.

4For you are permitted to see, that you may tell future generations.
