1Disse Rabi Ismael: Metatron me disse: Vem e eu te mostrarei as cortinas da Onipotência.

1Rabbi Ishmael said: Metatron said to me: Come and I will show you the curtains of the Omnipotent.

2Que estão estendidas diante do Santo, bendito seja, e nas quais estão gravadas todas as gerações do mundo.

2Which are spread before the Holy One, blessed be He, and on which are engraved all the generations of the world.

3E todas as suas obras, tanto o que fizeram quanto o que farão até o fim de todas as gerações.

3And all their works, both what they did and what they will do until the end of all generations.

4E fui e ele me mostrou, apontando com os dedos como um pai ensina seu filho.

4And I went and he showed me, pointing with his fingers as a father teaches his son.
