1Disse Rabi Ismael: Metatron, o Príncipe da Face, me disse: Vem e eu te mostrarei as Letras pelas quais o céu e a terra foram criados.

1Rabbi Ishmael said: Metatron, the Prince of the Face, said to me: Come and I will show you the Letters by which heaven and earth were created.

2E as Letras pelas quais os mares e rios foram criados, e as montanhas e colinas.

2And the Letters by which the seas and rivers were created, and the mountains and hills.

3E as estrelas e constelações, e o sol e a lua, e os relâmpagos e trovões.

3And the stars and constellations, and the sun and moon, and the lightning and thunder.

4E as Letras pelas quais as árvores e plantas e o Jardim do Éden foram criados.

4And the Letters by which the trees and plants and the Garden of Eden were created.
