1E aqueles homens me tomaram e me conduziram ao segundo céu, e me mostraram as trevas, mais escuras que as da terra.

1And those men took me and led me up to the second heaven, and showed me darkness, darker than that of the earth.

2E eu vi prisioneiros atados, vigiados, que aguardavam o grande e infinito julgamento, e esses anjos eram escuros.

2And I saw prisoners bound, guarded, awaiting the great and infinite judgment, and these angels were dark.

3E eu disse aos homens que estavam comigo: 'Por que motivo estão eles sendo torturados sem parar?'

3And I said to the men who were with me: 'Why are they being tortured unceasingly?'

4Eles me responderam: 'Estes são os infiéis a Deus, que não obedeceram aos mandamentos de Deus, mas que se aconselharam segundo sua própria vontade.'

4They answered me: 'These are the unfaithful to God, who did not obey the commandments of God, but counseled according to their own will.'
