1E agora, meus filhos, guardai vossas almas de toda injustiça, tal como o Senhor odeia.

1And now, my children, keep your souls from all injustice, such as the Lord hates.

2Andai diante de sua face com terror e tremor e servi a ele somente.

2Walk before his face with terror and trembling and serve him only.

3Curvai-vos ao verdadeiro Deus, não a ídolos mudos, mas curvai-vos à sua imagem, e trazei todas as ofertas justas diante da face do Senhor. O Senhor odeia o que é injusto.

3Bow down to the true God, not to mute idols, but bow down to his likeness, and bring all just offerings before the face of the Lord. The Lord hates what is unjust.

4Pois o Senhor vê todas as coisas; quando o homem toma pensamento em seu coração, então ele aconselha os intelectos, e cada pensamento está sempre diante do Senhor, que fez firme a terra e colocou todas as criaturas nela.

4For the Lord sees all things; when man takes thought in his heart, then he counsels the intellects, and every thought is always before the Lord, who made the earth firm and placed all creatures on it.

5Se olhardes para o céu, o Senhor está lá; se tomardes pensamento da profundeza do mar e de tudo sob a terra, o Senhor está lá.

5If you look at heaven, the Lord is there; if you take thought of the depth of the sea and of all under the earth, the Lord is there.

6Porque o Senhor criou todas as coisas. Não vos curveis a coisas feitas pelo homem, deixando o Senhor de toda a criação, porque nenhuma obra pode permanecer oculta diante da face do Senhor.

6For the Lord created all things. Do not bow down to things made by man, leaving the Lord of all creation, for no work can remain hidden before the face of the Lord.

7Andai, meus filhos, em longanimidade, em mansidão, honestidade, em provocação, em tristeza, em fé e em verdade, em confiança nas promessas, na doença, no abuso, nas feridas, na tentação, na nudez, na privação, amando uns aos outros, até que saiais desta era de males, para que vos torneis herdeiros do tempo sem fim.

7Walk, my children, in long-suffering, in meekness, honesty, in provocation, in sorrow, in faith and in truth, in trust in promises, in sickness, in abuse, in wounds, in temptation, in nakedness, in deprivation, loving one another, until you depart from this age of evils, that you may become heirs of the endless time.

8Bem-aventurados os justos que escaparão do grande julgamento, pois brilharão mais do que o sol sete vezes, pois neste mundo a sétima parte é tirada de tudo, luz, escuridão, comida, prazer, tristeza, paraíso, tortura, fogo, geada e outras coisas; ele colocou tudo por escrito, para que pudésseis ler e entender.'

8Blessed are the righteous who will escape the great judgment, for they will shine more than the sun seven times, for in this world the seventh part is taken from all, light, darkness, food, pleasure, sorrow, paradise, torture, fire, frost and other things; he put all in writing, so that you might read and understand.'
