2 Enoque 64

1Quando Enoque tinha falado estas palavras a seus filhos, todo o povo de perto e de longe ouviu como o Senhor estava chamando Enoque. Eles se aconselharam juntos:

1When Enoch had spoken these words to his sons, all the people from near and far heard how the Lord was calling Enoch. They counseled together:

2'Vamos e beijemos Enoque'

2'Let us go and kiss Enoch'

3e dois mil homens vieram juntos e chegaram ao lugar Achuzan onde Enoque estava, e seus filhos.

3And two thousand men came together and arrived at the place Achuzan where Enoch was, and his sons.

4E os anciãos do povo, toda a assembleia, vieram e se curvaram e começaram a beijar Enoque e disseram a ele:

4And the elders of the people, the whole assembly, came and bowed and began to kiss Enoch and said to him:

5'Nosso pai Enoque, sê tu abençoado do Senhor, o governante eterno, e agora abençoa teus filhos e todo o povo, para que possamos ser glorificados hoje diante de tua face.'

5'Our father Enoch, be you blessed of the Lord, the eternal ruler, and now bless your children and all the people, that we may be glorified today before your face.'

6'Pois tu serás glorificado diante da face do Senhor por todo o tempo, visto que o Senhor te escolheu, em vez de todos os homens na terra, e te designou escritor de toda a sua criação, visível e invisível, e redentor dos pecados do homem, e ajudante de tua casa.'

6'For you will be glorified before the face of the Lord for all time, since the Lord chose you, instead of all men on earth, and designated you writer of all his creation, visible and invisible, and redeemer of the sins of man, and helper of your house.'
