1E agora, meus filhos, não digais: 'Nosso pai está diante de Deus, e está orando por nossos pecados', pois lá não há ajudante de nenhum homem que tenha pecado.

1And now, my children, do not say: 'Our father stands before God, and is praying for our sins', for there is no helper of any man who has sinned.

2Vós vedes como escrevi todas as obras de cada homem, antes de sua criação, tudo o que é feito entre todos os homens por todo o tempo, e ninguém pode contar ou relatar minha caligrafia, porque o Senhor vê todas as imaginações do homem, como são vãs, onde jazem nos tesouros do coração.

2You see how I wrote all the works of every man, before their creation, all that is done among all men for all time, and no one can tell or relate my handwriting, for the Lord sees all the imaginations of man, how vain they are, where they lie in the treasures of the heart.

3E agora, meus filhos, marcai bem todas as palavras de vosso pai, que eu vos digo, para que não vos arrependais, dizendo: 'Por que nosso pai não nos disse?'

3And now, my children, mark well all the words of your father, that I tell you, lest you repent, saying: 'Why did our father not tell us?'
