1Estendei vossas mãos aos pobres de acordo com vossa força.

1Extend your hands to the poor according to your strength.

2Não escondais vossa prata na terra.

2Do not hide your silver in the earth.

3Ajudai o homem fiel na aflição, e a aflição não vos encontrará no tempo de vossa tribulação.

3Help the faithful man in affliction, and affliction will not find you in the time of your tribulation.

4E cada jugo penoso e cruel que vier sobre vós suportai tudo por causa do Senhor, e assim encontrareis vossa recompensa no dia do julgamento.

4And every burdensome and cruel yoke that comes upon you bear all for the sake of the Lord, and thus you will find your reward on the day of judgment.

5É bom ir de manhã, ao meio-dia e à noite à morada do Senhor, para a glória do vosso criador.

5It is good to go in the morning, at noon and in the evening to the dwelling of the Lord, for the glory of your creator.

6Porque cada coisa que respira o glorifica, e cada criatura visível e invisível lhe devolve louvor.

6For every thing that breathes glorifies him, and every visible and invisible creature returns praise to him.
