1Que o sol percorra os sete círculos celestiais, que são a designação de cento e oitenta e dois tronos, que ele desça em um dia curto, e novamente cento e oitenta e dois, que ele desça em um dia grande, e ele tem dois tronos nos quais descansa, girando para cá e para lá acima dos tronos dos meses, do décimo sétimo dia do mês Tsivan ele desce até o mês Thevan, do décimo sétimo de Thevan ele sobe.

1That the sun traverse the seven heavenly circles, which are the designation of one hundred and eighty-two thrones, that it descend on a short day, and again one hundred and eighty-two, that it descend on a long day, and it has two thrones on which it rests, turning here and there above the thrones of the months, from the seventeenth day of the month Tsivan it descends until the month Thevan, from the seventeenth of Thevan it ascends.

2E assim ele vai perto da terra, então a terra é e faz crescer seu fruto, e quando ele vai embora, então a terra fica triste, e árvores e todos os frutos não têm florescência.

5Thus I make known to you, my children, and distribute the books to your children, in all your generations, and among the nations that have the sense to fear God, that they may receive them, and that they may come to love them more than any food or earthly sweetness, and read them and apply themselves to them.

6E aqueles que não entendem o Senhor, que não temem a Deus, que não aceitam, mas rejeitam, que não recebem os livros, um terrível julgamento aguarda a esses.

6And those who do not understand the Lord, who do not fear God, who do not accept, but reject, who do not receive the books, a terrible judgment awaits them.

7Bem-aventurado o homem que carregar seu jugo e os arrastar, pois ele será libertado no dia do grande julgamento.
