1E agora, meus filhos, colocai o pensamento em vossos corações, marcai bem as palavras de vosso pai, que chegaram todas a vós pelos lábios do Senhor.

1And now, my children, place the thought in your hearts, mark well the words of your father, which have all come to you from the lips of the Lord.

2Tomai estes livros da caligrafia de vosso pai e lede-os.

2Take these books of your father's handwriting and read them.

3Pois os livros são muitos, e neles aprendereis todas as obras do Senhor, tudo o que tem sido desde o início da criação, e será até o fim dos tempos.

3For the books are many, and in them you will learn all the works of the Lord, all that has been from the beginning of creation, and will be until the end of time.

4E se observardes minha caligrafia, não pecareis contra o Senhor; porque não há outro exceto o Senhor, nem no céu, nem na terra, nem nos lugares mais baixos, nem no fundamento único.

4And if you observe my handwriting, you will not sin against the Lord; for there is no other except the Lord, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor in the lowest places, nor in the one foundation.

5O Senhor colocou os fundamentos no desconhecido, e estendeu os céus visíveis e invisíveis; ele fixou a terra sobre as águas, e criou incontáveis criaturas, e quem contou a água e o fundamento do não fixado, ou o pó da terra, ou a areia do mar, ou as gotas da chuva, ou o orvalho da manhã, ou os sopros do vento? Quem encheu a terra e o mar, e o inverno indissolúvel?

5The Lord placed the foundations in the unknown, and stretched out the visible and invisible heavens; he fixed the earth upon the waters, and created countless creatures, and who counted the water and the foundation of the unfixed, or the dust of the earth, or the sand of the sea, or the drops of rain, or the morning dew, or the blowing of the wind? Who filled the earth and the sea, and the indissoluble winter?

6Eu cortei as estrelas do fogo, e decorei o céu, e o coloquei no meio delas.

6I cut the stars from fire, and decorated heaven, and placed it in their midst.
