1Eu vi os guardiões das chaves e os guardas dos portões do inferno em pé, como grandes serpentes, e seus rostos como lâmpadas apagadas, e seus olhos de fogo, seus dentes afiados.

1I saw the keepers of the keys and the guardians of the gates of hell standing, like great serpents, and their faces like extinguished lamps, and their eyes of fire, their teeth sharp.

2E vi todas as obras do Senhor, como são justas, enquanto as obras do homem são algumas boas e outras más, e em suas obras são conhecidos aqueles que mentem maldosamente.

2And I saw all the works of the Lord, how righteous they are, while the works of man are some good and others evil, and in their works are known those who lie wickedly.
