1Adão irá viver na terra, e eu criei um jardim no Éden, ao leste, para que ele pudesse cumprir o testamento.

1Adam will live on earth, and I created a garden in Eden, to the east, so that he might keep the testament.

2Fiz com que os céus se abrissem diante dele para que pudesse ver os anjos cantando o hino da vitória.

2I made the heavens open before him so that he might see the angels singing the hymn of victory.

3Ele permaneceu no paraíso, e o demônio entendeu que eu queria criar outro mundo.

3He remained in paradise, and the devil understood that I wanted to create another world.

4O demônio é o gênio do mal das regiões inferiores; seu nome era Satanail.

4The devil is the evil genius of the lower regions; his name was Satanail.

5E ele entendeu sua condenação e alimentou ressentimentos contra Adão, de tal forma que seduziu Eva.

5And he understood his condemnation and harbored resentment against Adam, such that he seduced Eve.
