1E o Senhor chamou-me e disse-me: 'Enoque, senta-te à minha esquerda com Gabriel.'

1And the Lord called me and said: 'Enoch, sit at my left with Gabriel.'

2E eu curvei-me diante do Senhor, e o Senhor falou-me: 'Enoque, amado, tudo que vês já pronto, eu te digo que já era mesmo antes do início.'

2And I bowed before the Lord, and the Lord spoke to me: 'Enoch, beloved, all that you see already prepared, I tell you that it was even before the beginning.'

3'Pois que tudo isso eu criei do não-ser, as coisas visíveis do invisível.'

3'For all this I created from non-being, the visible things from the invisible.'

4'Ouve, Enoque, e aceita minhas palavras, pois nem a meus anjos contei meus segredos.'

4'Hear, Enoch, and accept my words, for not even to my angels have I told my secrets.'

5'Que hoje conto a ti.'

5'Which today I tell you.'
