2 Coríntios 6

1E nós, cooperando também com ele, vos exortamos a que não recebais a graça de Deus em vão

1We then, {as} workers together {with him}, beseech {you} also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2(Porque diz:Ouvi-te em tempo aceitável e socorri-te no dia da salvação;eis aqui agora o tempo aceitável, eis aqui agora o dia da salvação).

2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now {is} the accepted time; behold, now {is} the day of salvation.)

3Não dando nós escândalo em coisa alguma, para que o nosso ministério não seja censurado;

3Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

4Antes, como ministros de Deus, tornando-nos recomendáveis em tudo; na muita paciência, nas aflições, nas necessidades, nas angústias,

4But in all {things} approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, {approving: Gr. commending}

5Nos açoites, nas prisões, nos tumultos, nos trabalhos, nas vigílias, nos jejuns,

5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; {in tumults: or, in tossings to and fro}

6Na pureza, na ciência, na longanimidade, na benignidade, no Espírito Santo, no amor não fingido,

6By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

7Na palavra da verdade, no poder de Deus, pelas armas da justiça, à direita e à esquerda,

7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

8Por honra e por desonra, por infâmia e por boa fama; como enganadores, e sendo verdadeiros;

8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and {yet} true;

9Como desconhecidos, mas sendo bem conhecidos; como morrendo, e eis que vivemos; como castigados, e não mortos;

9As unknown, and {yet} well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

10Como contristados, mas sempre alegres; como pobres, mas enriquecendo a muitos; como nada tendo, e possuindo tudo.

10As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and {yet} possessing all things.

11Ó coríntios, a nossa boca está aberta para vós, o nosso coração está dilatado.

11O {ye} Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

12Não estais estreitados em nós; mas estais estreitados nos vossos próprios afetos.

12Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

13Ora, em recompensa disto, (falo como a filhos) dilatai-vos também vós.

13Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto {my} children,) be ye also enlarged.

14Não vos prendais a um jugo desigual com os infiéis; porque, que sociedade tem a justiça com a injustiça? E que comunhão tem a luz com as trevas?

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15E que concórdia há entre Cristo e Belial? Ou que parte tem o fiel com o infiel?

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16E que consenso tem o templo de Deus com os ídolos? Porque vós sois o templo do Deus vivente, como Deus disse: Neles habitarei, e entre eles andarei; e eu serei o seu Deus e eles serão o meu povo.

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in {them}; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17Por isso saí do meio deles, e apartai-vos, diz o Senhor;E não toqueis nada imundo,E eu vos receberei;

17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean {thing}; and I will receive you,

18E eu serei para vós Pai,E vós sereis para mim filhos e filhas, Diz o Senhor Todo-Poderoso.

18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
