2 Clemente 11

1Amemo-nos, portanto, uns aos outros, para que todos cheguemos ao Reino de Deus.

1Let us love one another, therefore, that we may all come to the Kingdom of God.

2Enquanto temos oportunidade de ser curados, entreguemo-nos a Deus, o médico, dando-lhe uma retribuição.

2While we have opportunity to be healed, let us deliver ourselves to God, the physician, giving him a recompense.

3Qual? Arrependimento de coração sincero.

3What? Repentance from a sincere heart.

4Porque ele conhece todas as coisas de antemão e sabe o que está em nosso coração.

4For he knows all things beforehand and knows what is in our heart.

5Demos-lhe, portanto, louvor eterno, não somente da boca, mas também do coração, para que nos receba como filhos.

5Let us give him, therefore, eternal praise, not only from the mouth, but also from the heart, that he may receive us as children.

6Porque o Senhor disse: Meus irmãos são estes que fazem a vontade de meu Pai.

6For the Lord said: My brothers are these who do the will of my Father.

7Portanto, irmãos meus, façamos a vontade do Pai que nos chamou.

7Therefore, my brethren, let us do the will of the Father who called us.

8Para que vivamos e sigamos a virtude.

8That we may live and follow virtue.
