2 Clemente 10

1Digo-vos: Aquele que é fiel no muito pouco também é fiel no muito.

1I tell you: He who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much.

2Isto significa: guardai a carne pura e o selo sem mancha, para que recebamos a vida.

2This means: keep the flesh pure and the seal unstained, that we may receive life.

3E ninguém de vós diga que esta carne não será julgada nem ressuscitará.

3And let none of you say that this flesh is not judged nor rises again.

4Sabei: Em que fostes salvos? Em que recuperastes a vista, senão estando nesta carne?

4Know: In what were you saved? In what did you recover your sight, if not while in this flesh?

5Portanto devemos guardar a carne como templo de Deus.

5Therefore we must keep the flesh as the temple of God.

6Pois assim como fostes chamados na carne, sereis também julgados na carne.

6For just as you were called in the flesh, you will also be judged in the flesh.

7Assim como Cristo, o Senhor que nos salvou, sendo primeiro espírito, se fez carne e assim nos chamou.

7Just as Christ, the Lord who saved us, being first spirit, became flesh and thus called us.

8Assim também nós receberemos a recompensa nesta carne.

8So also we shall receive the reward in this flesh.
