1Pois o Altíssimo certamente apressará Seus tempos e certamente estabelecerá Suas horas.

1For the Most High will assuredly hasten His times, and He will assuredly bring on His hours.

2E Ele certamente julgará aqueles que estão em Seu mundo, e visitará em verdade todas as coisas por meio de todas as suas obras ocultas.

2And He will assuredly judge those who are in His world, and will visit in truth all things by means of all their hidden works.

3E Ele certamente examinará os pensamentos secretos e aquilo que está guardado nas câmaras secretas de todos os membros do homem, e os fará manifestar na presença de todos com reprovação.

3And He will assuredly examine the secret thoughts, and that which is laid up in the secret chambers of all the members of man, and will make (them) manifest in the presence of all with reproof.

4Portanto, nenhuma destas coisas presentes suba aos vossos corações, mas sobretudo estejamos na expectativa, porque aquilo que nos foi prometido virá. wi

4Let none therefore of these present things ascend into your hearts, but above all let us be expectant, because that which is promised to us will come. wi

5E não olhemos agora para as delícias dos gentios no presente, mas lembremo-nos do que nos foi prometido no final.

5And let us not now look unto the delights of the Gentiles in the present, but let us remember what has been promised to us in the end.

6Pois o fim dos tempos e das estações e tudo o que está com eles certamente passará.

6For the ends of the times and of the seasons and whatsoever is with them shall assuredly pass by.

7Além disso, a consumação da era mostrará então o grande poder de seu governante, quando todas as coisas forem julgadas.

7The consummation, moreover, of the age shall then show the great might of its ruler, when all things come to judgement.

8Portanto, preparem seus corações para aquilo em que antes acreditavam, para que não se tornem escravos em ambos os mundos, de modo que sejam levados cativos aqui e sejam atormentados lá.

8Do ye therefore prepare your hearts for that which before ye believed, lest ye come to be in bondage in both worlds, so that ye be led away captive here and be tormented there.

9Pois aquilo que existe agora ou que já passou, ou que há de vir em todas estas coisas, nem o mal é totalmente mau, nem novamente o bem é totalmente bom.

9For that which exists now or which has passed away, or which is to come in all these things, neither is the evil fully evil, nor again the good fully good.

10Pois todas as salubridades desta época estão se transformando em doenças.

10For all healthinesses of this time are turning into diseases.

11E toda a força deste tempo está se transformando em fraqueza, e toda a força deste tempo está se transformando em miséria.

11And all might of this time is turning into weakness, and all the force of this time is turning into misery.

12E toda energia da juventude está se transformando em velhice e consumação, e toda beleza de graça desta época está se tornando desbotada e odiosa.

12And every energy of youth is turning into old age and consummation, and every beauty of gracefulness of this time is turning faded and hateful.

13E todo domínio orgulhoso do presente está se transformando em humilhação e vergonha.

13And every proud dominion of the present is turning into humiliation and shame.

14E todo louvor à glória deste tempo está se transformando na vergonha do silêncio, e todo esplendor e insolência deste tempo está se transformando em ruína silenciosa.

14And every praise of the glory of this time is turning into the shame of silence, and every splendour and insolence of this time is turning into voiceless ruin.

15E todo deleite e alegria desta época está se transformando em vermes e corrupção.

15And every delight and joy of this time is turning to worms and corruption.

16E todo clamor do orgulho desta época está se transformando em poeira e quietude.

16And every clamour of the pride of this time is turning into dust and stillness.

17E toda posse de riquezas deste tempo está sendo transformada somente no Seol.

17And every possession of riches of this time is being turned into Sheol alone.

18E toda a rapina da paixão deste tempo está se transformando em morte involuntária, e toda paixão das concupiscências deste tempo está se transformando em um julgamento de tormento.

18And all the rapine of passion of this time is turning into involuntary death, and every passion of the lusts of this time is turning into a judgement of torment.

19E cada artifício e astúcia desta época estão se transformando em uma prova da verdade.

19And every artifice and craftiness of this time is turning into a proof of the truth.

20E toda doçura dos unguentos deste tempo está se transformando em julgamento e condenação.

20And every sweetness of unguents of this time is turning into judgement and condemnation.

21E todo amor pela mentira está se transformando em vergonha através da verdade.

21And every love of lying is turning to shame through truth.

22Visto que todas estas coisas já aconteceram, alguém pensa que não serão vingadas?

22Since therefore all these things are done now, does anyone think that they will not be avenged?

23Mas a consumação de todas as coisas chegará à verdade.]

23But the consummation of all things will come to the truth.]
