1“E as brilhantes sextas águas que viste, esta é a época em que nasceram Davi e Salomão.

1"And the bright sixth waters which thou didst see, this is the time in which David and Solomon were born.

2E houve naquele tempo a construção de Sião, e a dedicação do santuário, e o derramamento de muito sangue das nações que pecaram então, e muitas ofertas que foram oferecidas então na dedicação do santuário.

2And there was at that time the building of Zion, and the dedication of the sanctuary, and the shedding of much blood of the nations that sinned then, and many offerings which were offered then in the dedication of the sanctuary.

3E paz e tranquilidade existiam naquela época.

3And peace and tranquillity existed at that time.

4E a sabedoria foi ouvida na assembleia, e as riquezas do entendimento foram magnificadas nas congregações.

4And wisdom was heard in the assembly, and the riches of understanding were magnified in the congregations.

5E as festas sagradas foram cumpridas com bondade e muita alegria.

5And the holy festivals were fulfilled in goodness and in much joy.

6E o julgamento dos governantes foi então visto como sem dolo, e a retidão dos preceitos do Poderoso foi cumprida com verdade.

6And the judgement of the rulers was then seen to be without guile, and the righteousness of the precepts of the Mighty One was accomplished with truth.

7E porque a terra era então amada naquela época, e porque seus habitantes não pecaram, ela foi glorificada além de todas as terras, e a cidade de Sião governou então sobre todas as terras e regiões.

7And because the land was then beloved at that time, and because its inhabitants sinned not, it was glorified beyond all lands, and the city Zion ruled then over all lands and regions.

8Estas são as águas brilhantes que você viu.

8These are the bright waters which thou hast seen.
