1“E as quartas águas brilhantes que viste são o advento de Moisés e Arão e Miriã e Josué filho de Num e Calebe e de todos aqueles como eles.

1"And the bright fourth waters which thou hast seen are the advent of Moses and Aaron and Miriam and Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb and of all those like them.

2Pois naquele tempo brilhou sobre todos os que estavam sentados nas trevas a lâmpada da lei eterna, que anunciou aos que creem a promessa da sua recompensa, e aos que negam, o tormento do fogo que lhes está reservado.

2For at that time the lamp of the eternal law shone on all those who sat in darkness, which announced to them that believe the promise of their reward, and to them that deny, the torment of fire which is reserved for them.

3Mas também os céus naquele tempo foram abalados do seu lugar, e aqueles que estavam sob o trono do Poderoso ficaram perturbados, quando Ele tomou Moisés para si.

4For He showed him many admonitions together with the principles of the law and the consummation of time, as also to thee, and likewise the pattern of Zion and its measures, which was made to be in the pattern of the sanctuary of the present time.

5But then also He showed to him the measures of the fire, also the depths of the abyss, and the weight of the winds, and the number of the drops of rain.

6E a supressão da raiva, e a multidão de longanimidade, e a verdade do julgamento.

6And the suppression of anger, and the multitude of long-suffering, and the truth of judgement.

7E a raiz da sabedoria, e a riqueza do entendimento, e a fonte do conhecimento.

7And the root of wisdom, and the riches of understanding, and the fount of knowledge.

8E a altura do ar, e a grandeza do Paraíso, e a consumação dos tempos, e o início do dia do julgamento.

8And the height of the air, and the greatness of Paradise, and the consummation of the ages, and the beginning of the day of judgement.

9E o número das ofertas e das terras que ainda não vieram.

9And the number of the offerings, and the earths which have not yet come.

10E a boca da Gehenna, e a estação de vingança, e o lugar da fé, e a região da esperança.

10And the mouth of Gehenna, and the station of vengeance, and the place of faith, and the region of hope.

11E a semelhança do tormento futuro, e a multidão de inumeráveis ​​anjos, e os poderes das chamas, e o esplendor dos relâmpagos, e a voz dos trovões, e as ordens dos chefes dos anjos, e os tesouros da luz, e as mudanças dos tempos, e as investigações da lei.

11And the likeness of future torment, and the multitude of innumerable angels, and the powers of the flames, and the splendour of the lightnings, and the voice of the thunders, and the orders of the chiefs of the angels, and the treasuries of light, and the changes of the times, and the investigations of the law.

12These are the bright fourth waters which thou hast seen.
