2 Baruque 57

1“E depois destas (águas) viste águas brilhantes: esta é a fonte de Abraão, também suas gerações e o advento de seu filho, e do filho de seu filho, e daqueles como eles.

1"And after these (waters) thou didst see bright waters: this is the fount of Abraham, also his generations and advent of his son, and of his son's son, and of those like them.

2Porque naquela época a lei não escrita foi nomeada entre eles, e as obras dos mandamentos foram então cumpridas, e a crença no julgamento vindouro foi então gerada, e a esperança do mundo que deveria ser renovado foi então construída, e a promessa da vida que deveria vir no futuro foi implantada.

2Because at that time the unwritten law was named amongst them, and the works of the commandments were then fulfilled, and belief in the coming judgement was then generated, and hope of the world that was to be renewed was then built up, and the promise of the life that should come hereafter was implanted.

3Estas são as águas brilhantes que você viu.

3These are the bright waters, which thou hast seen.
