2 Baruque 43

1'Mas tu, Baruque, fortalece teu coração com aquilo que te foi dito, e entende as coisas que te foram mostradas; Pois há muitas consolações eternas para ti.

1'But, do thou, Baruch, strengthen thy heart to that which has been said to thee, and understand those things which have been shown to thee; For there are many eternal consolations for thee.

2Pois tu partirás deste lugar, e passarás das regiões que agora são vistas por ti, e esquecerás tudo o que é corruptível, e não te lembrarás novamente daquelas coisas que acontecem entre os mortais.

2For thou wilt depart from this place, and thou wilt pass from the regions which are now seen by thee, and thou wilt forget whatever is corruptible, and wilt not again recall those things which happen among mortals.

3Vá, portanto, e dê ordem ao seu povo, e venha a este lugar, e depois jejue sete dias, e então irei até você e falarei com você”.

3Go therefore and command thy people, and come to this place, and afterwards fast seven days, and then I will come to thee and speak with thee."
