1E Ele respondeu e disse-me: “Tu também serás guardado em segurança até aquele tempo, até aquele sinal que o Altíssimo operará para os habitantes da terra no fim dos dias.

1And He answered and said unto me: "Thou too shalt be kept safely till that time till that sign which the Most High will work for the inhabitants of the earth in the end of days.

2Este será, portanto, o sinal.

2This therefore will be the sign.

3Quando um estupor se apoderar dos habitantes da terra, e eles caírem em muitas tribulações, e novamente quando cairem em grandes tormentos.

3When a stupor shall seize the inhabitants of the earth, and they shall fall into many tribulations, and again when they shall fall into great torments.

4E acontecerá quando eles disserem em seus pensamentos por causa de suas muitas tribulações: 'O Poderoso não se lembra mais da terra' - sim, acontecerá quando eles abandonarem a esperança, que o tempo então despertará.

4And it will come to pass when they say in their thoughts by reason of their much tribulation: 'The Mighty One doth no longer remember the earth'-- yea, it will come to pass when they abandon hope, that the time will then awake."
