1Porém a sua casa edificou Salomão em treze anos; e acabou toda a sua casa.

1But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

2Também edificou a casa do bosque do Líbano de cem côvados de comprimento, e de cinqüenta côvados de largura, e de trinta côvados de altura, sobre quatro ordens de colunas de cedro, e vigas de cedro sobre as colunas.

2He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof {was} an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

3E por cima estava coberta de cedro sobre as vigas, que estavam sobre quarenta e cinco colunas, quinze em cada ordem.

3And {it was} covered with cedar above upon the beams, that {lay} on forty five pillars, fifteen {in} a row. {beams: Heb. ribs}

4E havia três ordens de janelas; e uma janela estava defronte da outra janela, em três ordens.

4And {there were} windows {in} three rows, and light {was} against light {in} three ranks. {light was...: Heb. sight against sight}

5Também todas as portas e ombreiras quadradas eram de uma mesma vista; e uma janela estava defronte da outra, em três ordens.

5And all the doors and posts {were} square, with the windows: and light {was} against light {in} three ranks. {doors...: or, spaces and pillars were square in prospect}

6Depois fez um pórtico de colunas de cinqüenta côvados de comprimento e de trinta côvados de largura; e o pórtico estava defronte delas, e as colunas com as grossas vigas defronte delas.

6And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof {was} fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch {was} before them: and the {other} pillars and the thick beam {were} before them. {before them: or, according to them}

7Também fez o pórtico para o trono onde julgava, isto é, o pórtico do juízo, que estava revestido de cedro de soalho a soalho.

7Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, {even} the porch of judgment: and {it was} covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other. {from...: Heb. from floor to floor}

8E em sua casa, em que morava, havia outro pátio, por dentro do pórtico, de obra semelhante à deste; também para a filha de Faraó, que Salomão tomara por mulher, fez uma casa semelhante àquele pórtico.

8And his house where he dwelt {had} another court within the porch, {which} was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken {to wife}, like unto this porch.

9Todas estas coisas eram de pedras de grande valor, cortadas à medida, serradas à serra por dentro e por fora; e isto desde o fundamento até às beiras do teto, e por fora até ao grande pátio.

9All these {were of} costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and {so} on the outside toward the great court.

10Também estava fundado sobre pedras finas, pedras grandes; sobre pedras de dez côvados e pedras de oito côvados.

10And the foundation {was of} costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.

11E em cima delas pedras de grande valor, lavradas segundo as medidas, e madeira de cedro.

11And above {were} costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.

12Havia três ordens de pedras lavradas, com uma ordem de vigas de cedro; assim era também o pátio interior da casa do Senhor e o pórtico daquela casa.

12And the great court round about {was} with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.

13E enviou o rei Salomão um mensageiro e mandou trazer a Hirão de Tiro.

13And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre. {Hiram: also called, Huram}

14Era ele filho de uma mulher viúva, da tribo de Naftali, e fora seu pai um homem de Tiro, que trabalhava em cobre; e era cheio de sabedoria, e de entendimento, e de ciência para fazer toda a obra de cobre; este veio ao rei Salomão, e fez toda a sua obra.

14He {was} a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father {was} a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work. {a widow's...: Heb. the son of a widow woman}

15E formou duas colunas de cobre; a altura de cada coluna era de dezoito côvados, e um fio de doze côvados cercava cada uma das colunas.

15For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about. {cast: Heb. fashioned}

16Também fez dois capitéis de fundição de cobre para pôr sobre as cabeças das colunas; de cinco côvados era a altura de um capitel, e de cinco côvados a altura do outro capitel.

16And he made two chapiters {of} molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter {was} five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter {was} five cubits:

17As redes eram de malhas, as ligas de obra de cadeia para os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas, sete para um capitel e sete para o outro capitel.

17{And} nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which {were} upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.

18Assim fez as colunas, juntamente com duas fileiras em redor sobre uma rede, para cobrir os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das romãs, assim também fez com o outro capitel.

18And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that {were} upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.

19E os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas eram de obra de lírios no pórtico, de quatro côvados.

19And the chapiters that {were} upon the top of the pillars {were} of lily work in the porch, four cubits.

20Os capitéis, pois, sobre as duas colunas estavam também defronte, em cima da parte globular que estava junto à rede; e duzentas romãs, em fileiras em redor, estavam também sobre o outro capitel.

20And the chapiters upon the two pillars {had pomegranates} also above, over against the belly which {was} by the network: and the pomegranates {were} two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.

21Depois levantou as colunas no pórtico do templo; e levantando a coluna direita, pôs-lhe o nome de Jaquim; e levantando a coluna esquerda, pôs-lhe o nome de Boaz.

21And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz. {Jachin: that is, He shall establish} {Boaz: that is, In it is strength}

22E sobre a cabeça das colunas estava a obra de lírios; e assim se acabou a obra das colunas.

22And upon the top of the pillars {was} lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.

23Fez mais o mar de fundição, de dez côvados de uma borda até à outra borda, perfeitamente redondo, e de cinco côvados de alto; e um cordão de trinta côvados o cingia em redor.

23And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: {it was} round all about, and his height {was} five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about. {from...: Heb. from his brim to his brim}

24E por baixo da sua borda em redor havia botões que o cingiam; por dez côvados cercavam aquele mar em redor; duas ordens destes botões foram fundidas quando o mar foi fundido.

24And under the brim of it round about {there were} knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops {were} cast in two rows, when it was cast.

25E firmava-se sobre doze bois, três que olhavam para o norte, e três que olhavam para o ocidente, e três que olhavam para o sul, e três que olhavam para o oriente; e o mar estava em cima deles, e todas as suas partes posteriores para o lado de dentro.

25It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea {was set} above upon them, and all their hinder parts {were} inward.

26E a grossura era de um palmo, e a sua borda era como a de um copo, como de flor de lírios; ele levava dois mil batos.

26And it {was} an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.

27Fez também as dez bases de cobre; o comprimento de uma base de quatro côvados, e de quatro côvados a sua largura, e três côvados a sua altura.

27And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits {was} the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.

28E esta era a obra das bases; tinham cintas, e as cintas estavam entre as molduras.

28And the work of the bases {was} on this {manner}: they had borders, and the borders {were} between the ledges:

29E sobre as cintas que estavam entre as molduras havia leões, bois, e querubins, e sobre as molduras uma base por cima; e debaixo dos leões e dos bois junturas de obra estendida.

29And on the borders that {were} between the ledges {were} lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges {there was} a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen {were} certain additions made of thin work.

30E uma base tinha quatro rodas de metal, e lâminas de cobre; e os seus quatro cantos tinham suportes; debaixo da pia estavam estes suportes fundidos, do lado de cada uma das junturas.

30And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver {were} undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.

31E a boca da pia estava dentro da coroa, e de um côvado por cima; e era a sua boca redonda segundo a obra da base, de côvado e meio; e também sobre a sua boca havia entalhes, e as suas cintas eram quadradas, não redondas.

31And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above {was} a cubit: but the mouth thereof {was} round {after} the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it {were} gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.

32E as quatro rodas estavam debaixo das cintas, e os eixos das rodas na base; e era a altura de cada roda de côvado e meio.

32And under the borders {were} four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels {were joined} to the base: and the height of a wheel {was} a cubit and half a cubit. {joined...: Heb. in the base}

33E era a obra das rodas como a obra da roda de carro; seus eixos, e suas cambas e seus cubos, e seus raios, todos eram fundidos.

33And the work of the wheels {was} like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, {were} all molten.

34E havia quatro suportes aos quatro cantos de cada base; seus suportes saíam da base.

34And {there were} four undersetters to the four corners of one base: {and} the undersetters {were} of the very base itself.

35E no alto de cada base havia uma peça redonda de meio côvado de altura; também sobre o alto de cada base havia asas e cintas, que saíam delas.

35And in the top of the base {was there} a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof {were} of the same.

36E nas placas de seus esteios e nas suas cintas lavrou querubins, leões, e palmas, segundo o espaço de cada uma, e outros adornos em redor.

36For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about. {proportion: Heb. nakedness}

37Conforme a esta fez as dez bases; todas tinham uma mesma fundição, uma mesma medida, e um mesmo entalhe.

37After this {manner} he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, {and} one size.

38Também fez dez pias de cobre; em cada pia cabiam quarenta batos, e cada pia era de quatro côvados, e sobre cada uma das dez bases estava uma pia.

38Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: {and} every laver was four cubits: {and} upon every one of the ten bases one laver.

39E pôs cinco bases à direita da casa, e cinco à esquerda da casa; porém o mar pôs ao lado direito da casa para o lado do oriente, da parte do sul.

39And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south. {side: Heb. shoulder}

40Depois fez Hirão as pias, e as pás, e as bacias; e acabou Hirão de fazer toda a obra que fez para o rei Salomão, para a casa do Senhor.

40And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD: {And Hiram: Heb. And Hirom}

41A saber: as duas colunas, e os globos dos capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das duas colunas; e as duas redes, para cobrir os dois globos dos capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas.

41The two pillars, and the {two} bowls of the chapiters that {were} on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which {were} upon the top of the pillars;

42E as quatrocentas romãs para as duas redes, a saber: duas carreiras de romãs para cada rede, para cobrirem os dois globos dos capitéis que estavam em cima das colunas.

42And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, {even} two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that {were} upon the pillars; {upon...: Heb. upon the face of the pillars}

43Juntamente com as dez bases, e as dez pias sobre as bases;

43And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;

44Como também um mar, e os doze bois debaixo daquele mar;

44And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;

45E os caldeirões, e as pás, e as bacias, e todos estes objetos que fez Hirão para o rei Salomão, para a casa do Senhor, todos eram de cobre polido.

45And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, {were of} bright brass. {bright: Heb. made bright or, scoured}

46Na planície do Jordão, o rei os fundiu em terra barrenta; entre Sucote e Zaretã.

46In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan. {in...: Heb. in the thickness of the ground}

47E deixou Salomão de pesar todos os objetos, pelo seu excessivo número; nem se averiguou o peso do cobre.

47And Solomon left all the vessels {unweighed}, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out. {because...: Heb. for the exceeding multitude} {found: Heb. searched}

48Também fez Salomão todos os objetos que convinham à casa do Senhor; o altar de ouro, e a mesa de ouro, sobre a qual estavam os pães da proposição.

48And Solomon made all the vessels that {pertained} unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread {was},

49E os castiçais, cinco à direita e cinco à esquerda, diante do oráculo, de ouro finíssimo; e as flores, e as lâmpadas, e os espevitadores, também de ouro.

49And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right {side}, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs {of} gold,

50Como também os vasos, e os apagadores, e as bacias, e as colheres, e os perfumadores, de ouro finíssimo; e as dobradiças para as portas da casa interior para o lugar santíssimo, e as das portas da casa do templo, também de ouro.

50And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers {of} pure gold; and the hinges {of} gold, {both} for the doors of the inner house, the most holy {place, and} for the doors of the house, {to wit}, of the temple. {censers: Heb. ash pans}

51Assim se acabou toda a obra que fez o rei Salomão para a casa do Senhor; então trouxe Salomão as coisas que seu pai Davi havia consagrado; a prata, e o ouro, e os objetos pôs entre os tesouros da casa do Senhor.

51So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; {even} the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD. {things...: Heb. holy things of David}
