1Ao oriente o chamam este porque é o primeiro; ao sul o chamam meio-dia porque ali habita o Grande e nele reside o Bendito por sempre.

2Ao grande ponto cardeal o chamam poente porque ali vão as estrelas do céu, por ali ficam e por ali se ocultam, por isso o chamam poente.
