1Vi outra rota, uma lei para ela, como por meio desta lei se cumpre o movimento de seus meses.

1And at the ends of the earth I saw twelve gates open for all the winds, from which they come forth, and blow over the earth.

2Tudo isto me mostrou isso Uriel, o anjo santo que o líder de todos eles, anotou sua posição tal e como ele me revelou isso e anotou seus meses tal e como são e o aspecto de sua luz até que se cumpram quinze dias.

2Three of them are open in the face of heaven, three in the west, three on the right side of heaven, and three on the left, the first three are those which are towards the east, three are towards the north, three behind those which are on the left towards the north, and three towards the west.

3Em cada sétima parte ela cumpre sua luz ao oriente e em cada sétima parte ela cumpre sua escuridão ao ocidente.

3From four of these proceed winds of blessing and of health, and from the remaining eight go forth winds of punishment, when they are sent to destroy all the earth, and the water which is upon it, and all who dwell upon it, and all who are in the waters, or on the earth.

4Em certos meses ela altera suas postas e em certos meses ela segue seu próprio curso.

4The first of these winds goes forth from the gate called the eastern, through the first gate on the east, which inclines to the south. From this gate goes forth destruction, drought, heat, and perdition.

5São dois os meses em que a lua se esconde com o sol, pelas duas portas que está na metade, a terceira e a quarta.

5From the second gate, the middle one, proceeds equity, there come from it rain, fruitfulness, health, and dew; and from the third gate towards the north go forth cold and drought.

6Ela sai por sete dias, vira e retorna pela porta por onde sai o sol.

6After these the winds in the direction of the south go forth through three principal gates, through their first gate, which is towards the east goes forth a hot wind.

7Quando o sol sai pela sétima porta, ela sai por sete dias, até que nasce pela quinta e vira e retorna de novo durante sete dia pela quarta porta, completa toda sua luz, afasta-se e entra pela primeira porta durante oito dias.

7But from the middle gate proceed pleasant odour, dew, rain, health, and life.

8Ela retorna durante sete dias pela quarta porta pela que sai o sol.

8From the third gate which is towards the west, proceed dew rain, blight, and destruction.

9Assim vi sua posição, como a lua sai e o sol fica durante esses dias.

9After these are the winds towards the north which is called the sea, they proceed from three gates, the first gate is that which is on the east inclining to the south, from this go forth dew, rain, blight, and destruction; from the middle direct gate go forth rain, dew, life, and health; and from the third gate which is towards the west, inclining towards the north, proceed mist, frost, snow, rain, dew, and blight.

10Se acrescentarmos cinco anos o sol tem um excedente de trinta dias e todos os dias que suma um destes cinco anos ao completar-se, são trezentos e sessenta e quatro dias.

10After these in the fourth quarter are the winds to the west, and from the first gate inclining to the north, go forth dew, rain, frost, snow, cold, and chill; and from the middle gate go forth dew, rain, health, and blessing.

11O excedente do sol e as estrelas chega a seis dia, em cinco anos da seis dias por ano são trinta dias e à lua faltam trinta dias com respeito ao sol e as estrelas.

11And from the last gate which is southwards, proceed drought, destruction, scorching, and perdition.

12O sol e as estrelas têm completo o ano exatamente, tanto que eles não adiantam nem retrocedem sua posição nem um só dia por toda a eternidade e completam os anos com perfeita justiça cada trezentos e sessenta e quatro dias.

12The account of the twelve gates of the four quarters of heaven is ended.

13Em três anos há mil e noventa e dois dias, em cinco anos, mil oitocentos e vinte dias e em oito anos dois mil novecentos e doze dias.

13I have shewn all their laws, all their punishment, and all their health, to thee my son Mathusala.

14Mas para a lua só seus dias em três anos chegam a mil e sessenta e dois e aos cinco anos faltam cinquenta dias,

15Ela tem em cinco anos mil setecentos e setenta dias e assim há para a lua durante oito anos, dois mil oitocentos e trinta e dois dias.

16Aos oito anos faltam oitenta dias.

17O ano se cumpre regularmente segundo as estações do mundo e a posição do sol, que sai pelas portas pelas quais nasce e se oculta durante trinta dias.
