1 Enoque 39

1E ocorrerá nesses dias que os filhos dos escolhidos e Santos descenderão do alto do céu e sua linhagem chegará a ser um com o dos filhos dos homens.

1After this I saw thousands of thousands, and myriads of myriads, and an infinite number of people stand before the Lord of spirits.

2Enoque recebeu os livros do zelo e a ira e os livros da angústia e o desterro: Nunca mais obterão misericórdia, disse o Senhor dos espíritos.

2On the four wings also of the Lord of spirits on the four sides, I perceived others, besides those who stood before him. Their names also I know, because the angel who went with me explained them all to me, and discovered to me every secret.

3E as nuvens me cobriram, e o vento me levantou da superfície da terra e me deixou no limite dos céus.

3Then I heard the voices of those on the four sides praising the Lord of glory.

4Ali tive outra visão: vi o lugar onde habitam os Santos e o lugar de descanso dos justos.

4The first voice praised the Lord of spirits for ever and ever.

5Aí contemplei com meus olhos as moradas em meio dos anjos de justiça e seus lugares de descanso entre os Santos. Enquanto suplicam e oram pelos filhos dos homens, a justiça brota entre eles como a água e a misericórdia se pulveriza sobre eles como o sobre o rocio sobre a terra, pelos séculos dos séculos.

5I heard the second voice praising the Elect One, and the elect who suffer for the sake of the Lord of spirits.

6Nesse lugar com meus olhos vi o Eleito de Justiça e de Fé; a justiça prevalecerá em seus dias e os justos e os escolhidos serão inumeráveis ante ele pelos séculos dos séculos.

6I heard the third voice petitioning and praying for them who dwell on earth, and supplicate the name of the Lord of spirits.

7Vi sua morada sob as asas do Senhor dos espíritos; todos os justos e os escolhidos brilharão frente a ele como o resplendor do fogo; sua boca estará cheia de bênção; seus lábios glorificarão o nome do Senhor dos espíritos; e a justiça e a verdade não falharão ante ele.

7I heard the fourth voice driving out the evil angels, and preventing them from entering into the presence of the Lord of spirits, to bring forth complaints against the inhabitants of the earth.

8Eu desejava viver ali e meu espírito desejava essa morada: essa era desde antes minha herança, tal e como tinha sido estabelecida para mim ante o Senhor dos espíritos.

8After this, I desired the angel of peace, who went with me to declare all that was concealed, I said to him, Who are these on the four sides, whom I have seen, and whose words I have heard, and written down? He answered, The first is the merciful, the patient, the holy Michael;

9Nesses dias elogiei e louvei o nome do Senhor dos espíritos com bênções e louvores porque Ele me destinou para a bênção e a glória de acordo com o bom parecer do Senhor dos espíritos.

9The second is he who is over every suffering and every wound of the sons of men, the holy Raphael; the third who is over all that is powerful, is Gabriel; and the fourth, who is over repentance, and the hope of those who will inherit eternal life, is Phanuel. These are the four angels of the most high God, and their four voices which I heard at that time.

10Por muito tempo meus olhos observaram esse lugar e o benzi a Ele e o louvei dizendo: Bendito é Ele e bendito seja desde o começo e para sempre.

11Ante Ele não há renúncia; Ele sabe desde antes de que o mundo fora criado o que é para sempre e o que será de geração em geração.

12Aqueles que não dormem benzem; eles estão ante sua Glória e benzem, elogiam e louvam dizendo: Santo, Santo, santo é o Senhor dos espíritos, Ele enche a terra com espíritos.

13Meus olhos viram lá a todos aqueles que não dormem, benzendo e dizendo: Bendito você seja e bendito seja o nome do Senhor dos espíritos pelos séculos dos séculos.

14Meu rosto foi trocado e não podia sustentar o olhar.
