1De ali fui até os limites da terra e vi ali grandes bestas diferentes umas de outras e também pássaros que diferiam em seus aspectos, formosura e gorjeios.

1From there I passed on towards the north to the ends of the earth;

2Ao oriente dessas bestas vi o final da terra, onde o céu descansa, e onde se abrem os portais do céu.

2And there I saw a great and glorious wonder at the ends of the whole earth.

3Vi como nascem as estrelas do céus e os portais dos que procedem e anotei as saídas de cada uma das estrela, segundo seu número, nome, curso e posição e segundo seu tempo e meses, segundo me mostrava isso Uriel, um dos Vigilantes.

3There I saw heavenly gates opening into heaven, and three of them distinctly divided. The north winds came out from them, and blew cold, hail, frost, snow, dew, and rain.

4E me mostrou e escreveu para mim tudo, inclusive escreveu para mim seus nomes de acordo com seus tempos.

4They blew mildly from one of the gates; but when they blew from the other two, it was with force and violence, they blew strongly over the earth.
