1De ali fui transportado a outro lugar ao ocidente, nas extremidades da terra;

1I went from there to another place towards the west, unto the ends of the earth,

2foi mostrado um fogo que corria sem descanso e sem interromper sua carreira nem de dia nem de noite, permanecendo constante, enquanto isso.

2Where I saw a fire, flaming and running on without ceasing, which intermitted not its course either by day or by night, but continued always the same.

3Eu perguntei dizendo: O que é isto que não tem repouso algum?

3Then I enquired and said, What is this which never ceases?

4Me respondeu Eaguel: A função deste fogo que corre para o ocidente é guiar a todas as luminárias do céu.

4Then answered Eaguel, one of the holy angels who was with me,

5And said, This flaming fire which thou seest running towards the west, is that of all the lights of heaven.
