1Este é o livro das palavras da verdade e da repreensão de quão vigilantes desde a eternidade existem sempre conforme o que ordenou o Grande Santíssimo no sonho que tive.

1This is the book of the words of righteousness, and of the reproof of the watchers who belong to the world, in consequence of that which He, who is Great and Holy, commanded in the vision. I understood in my dream, that I now spake with a tongue of flesh, and with my breath, which the Almighty has put in the mouth of men, that with it they may speak,

2Nesta visão vi em meu sonho o que digo agora com a língua de carne, com o fôlego de minha boca, que o Todo-poderoso deu aos humanos para que falem com ela e para que compreendam no coração. Assim como Deus criou e destinou aos filhos dos homens para que entendam as palavras de conhecimento, assim me criou, feito e destinado a mim para que repreenda aos Vigilantes, aos filhos do céu.

2And understand with the heart. As He has created and given to men to understand the words of wisdom, so He has created and given to me to reprove the watchers, the offspring of heaven. I have written your petition, and in my vision it has been shewn to me, that what you desire will not be given you, as long as the world remains.

3Eu escrevi sua petição e em uma visão me revelou que nunca será concedida e que haverá julgamento por decisão e decreto contra vós,

3Judgment has been passed upon you, nothing will be granted to you.

4que a partir de agora não voltarão para o céu e por todas as épocas não subirão,

4From this time forth you never shall ascend into heaven, He has said that he will bind you on the earth, as long as the world remains.

5porque foi decretada a sentença para lhes encadear nas prisões da terra por todos os dias do mundo.

5But before these things you shall see the destruction of your beloved sons, you shall not enjoy them, but they shall fall before you by the sword.

6Mas antes verão que todos seus seres queridos irão à destruição com todos seus filhos e as riquezas de seus seres queridos e de seus filhos não as desfrutarão, e eles cairão em sua presença pela espada de destruição.

6And ye shall not petition for them, nor for yourselves.

7Pois nem sua petição por eles nem a petição por vós serão concedidas. Nem mesmo pedindo e suplicando e enquanto choram pronunciem todas as palavras que tenho escrito.

7But ye shall weep and supplicate in silence. The words of the book which I wrote,

8Isto foi revelado na visão: Hei aqui que as nuvens me chamavam, a neblina me convocava, as estrelas agitadas me gritavam, e os relâmpagos e trovões me apressavam e me despediam, e na visão os ventos me faziam voar, levantavam-me no alto, levavam-me e me entravam nos céus.

8A vision that appeared to me;

9Entrei neles até que cheguei ao muro de um edifício construído com pedras de granizo, rodeado e cercado completamente com línguas de fogo que começaram a me assustar.

9Behold, in that vision, clouds and a mist invited me on, agitated stars and rays of light incited and pressed me forwards, while winds in the vision assisted my flight hastening my going on.

10Entrei por essas línguas de fogo até que cheguei a uma casa grande construída com pedras de granizo cujos muros eram como pranchas de cristal todas elas de neve e seu chão era feito de gelo.

10They raised me to the height of heaven, I went forward until I came to a wall built with stones of crystal, a moving flame surrounded it, which began to make me afraid,

11Seu teto era como o curso das estrelas, relâmpagos e trovoada e entre eles querubins de fogo e seu céu era de água.

11I entered into this moving flame;

12Um fogo ardente rodeava todos seus muros cercando-os por completo e as portas eram de fogo ardente.

12And I came near to an extensive residence, which also was built with stones of crystal, for its walls as well as its floor were stones of crystal, and the ground also was crystal, its roof had the appearance of stars violently agitated, and flashes of lightning, and among them were cherubim of fire, and their heaven was water. A flame burned round its wall, and its portal flamed with fire. When I entered into this dwelling, it was hot as fire, and cold as ice. No trace of joy or of life was there; fear overcame me and a dreadful trembling seized me.

13Entrei nesta casa que era quente como fogo e fria como gelo. Não havia nela nenhum dos prazeres da vida. Consumiu-me o medo e o tremor se apoderou de mim.

13Violently agitated and trembling, I fell on my face. In the vision I saw,

14Tiritando e tremendo caí sobre meu rosto e se me revelou uma visão:

14And behold there was another far more extensive habitation, to which every entrance before me was open, established in a moving flame.

15Hei aqui que vi uma porta que se abria diante de mim e outra casa que era maior que a anterior, construída toda com línguas de fogo.

15So great was the appearance in every respect, in glory, in magnificence, and in magnitude, that it is impossible to describe to you either its magnificence or extent.

16Toda ela era superior à outra em esplendor, glória e majestade, tanto que não posso lhes descrever seu esplendor e majestade.

16Its floor was all on fire, above were lightnings and agitated stars, while its roof displayed a flaming fire.

17Seu piso era de fogo, e sua parte superior de relâmpagos e trovões e o caminho das estrelas, e seu teto de fogo ardente.

17I beheld it attentively, and saw that it contained an elevated throne;

18Foi revelada e vi nela um trono elevado cujo aspecto era o do cristal e cujo contorno era como o sol brilhante, e visão de Querubim.

18The appearance of which was like that of sapphire, while its circumference was like the orb of the radiant sun, and there was the voice of the cherubim.

19Por cima do trono saíam rios de fogo ardente que eu não podia olhar para lá.

19From beneath this mighty throne flowed rivers of flaming fire,

20A Grande Glória tinha sede no trono e seu vestido luzia mais brilhante que o sol e mais branco que qualquer neve.

20To look upon it was impossible.

21Nenhum anjo podia entrar e lhe ver a cara devido à magnífica Glória e nenhum ser de carne podia olhá-lo.

21One great in glory sat thereon;

22Um fogo ardente lhe rodeava e um grande fogo se levantava ante Ele. Nenhum dos que lhe rodeava podia aproximar-se; miríades de miríades estavam de pé ante Ele, porém não necessitava conselheiros.

22Whose robe was brighter than the sun, and whiter than snow:

23E as santidades dos Santos que estavam perto Dele não se afastavam durante a noite nem se separavam Dele.

23No angel was able to press forward to view the face of Him, the Glorious, and the Effulgent, nor could any mortal behold Him; a fire was flaming around Him.

24Eu até este momento estava prostrado sobre meu rosto, tremendo e o Senhor por sua própria boca me chamou e me disse: Vem aqui Enoque e escuta minha Palavra.

24Also a fire of great compass continued to rise up before him, so that none of those who stood around him came near to him, among the myriads of myriads who were before him. To him holy consultation was unnecessary, yet the sanctified, who were near him, departed not far from him either by day or by night, nor were they withdrawn far from him; I also was so far gone forward with a veil before my face and trembling; Then the Lord with his mouth called me, and said, Come near hither, Enoch, at my holy word.

25E veio para mim um dos Santos, me despertou, fez-me levantar e me aproximar da porta, e inclinei para baixo minha cabeça.

25And he raised me up, and caused me to come near even to the entrance. My eye was directed to the ground.
