1 Enoque 13

1Logo, Enoque foi-se e disse a Azaso: Não haverá paz para ti, contra ti foi pronunciado um grande julgamento para te encadear.

1Then I Enoch went on further, and said to Azaziel, Thou shalt not obtain peace, for a great sentence is gone forth against thee, He will bind thee.

2Não haverá para ti nem trégua nem intercessão, porque ensinaste a injustiça e por causa de todas as obras de impiedade, violência e pecado que ensinaste aos humanos.

2Neither shall ease, mercy, and intercession be thine, by reason of the oppression which thou hast taught.

3E avançando falei com todos eles e todos temeram e se espantaram e o tremor se apoderou deles.

3And by reason of every act of blasphemy, tyranny, and sin, which thou hast disclosed to the children of men.

4Me suplicaram que elevasse uma petição por eles para que pudessem encontrar perdão por seus pecados e que a lesse em presença do Senhor do céu.

4Then I went away, and spake to them all gathered together.

5Porque após eles não podem falar com Deus nem levantar seus olhos ao céu, devido à vergonha pelos crimes pelos quais foram condenados.

5And they were all affrightned, and trembled.

6Então escrevi sua oração com todas suas petições por suas almas e por cada uma de suas obras e pelo que suplicavam todos, que houvesse para eles perdão e larga vida.

6They besought me to prepare for them a petition, that they might obtain forgiveness, and that I would convey the petition of their prayer before the God of heaven, because they were not able themselves from that time to turn to him, or to lift up their eyes unto heaven, by reason of the ignominious crime for which they had been judged.

7Fui e me sentei junto às águas de Dão, na terra de Dão, ao sul do Hermínio, a seu lado ocidental e estive lendo o livro onde anotei suas petições, até que dormi.

7Then I wrote a petition of their prayer and supplication for their souls, concerning all that they had done, and for the object of their entreaty, that they might obtain forgiveness and rest.

8Hei aqui que me vieram sonhos e caíram sobre mim visões até que levantei minhas pálpebras às portas do palácio do céu e vi uma visão do rigor do castigo. E veio uma voz e me disse: Fala com os filhos do céu para lhes repreender.

8Going further, I passed over the waters of Danbadan, which is on the right side of the west of Armon, and read the memorial of their petition until I fell asleep.

9Quando despertei fui a eles. Todos estavam reunidos juntos e sentados chorando, na Fonte do Pranto que está entre o Líbano e Senir, com os rostos cobertos.

9And behold a dream came to me, and visions appeared above me, I fell down, and saw a vision of punishment, that I might describe it to the sons of heaven, and reprove them. When I awoke, I went to them, they all stood weeping together in Oubelseyael, which is between Libanus and Senezer, with their faces veiled.

10Contei diante deles todas as visões que tinha visto em sonhos e me pus a falar com palavras de justiça e de visão e a repreender aos Vigilantes celestiais.

10I related in their presence all the visions which I had seen, and my dream;

11And began to declare these words of righteousness, and reprove the watchers of heaven.
