1 Enoque 12

1Ante esses sucessos Enoque tinha sido oculto e não havia nenhum humano que soubesse onde foi escondido nem onde esteve nem o que lhe aconteceu.

1Before all these things Enoch was concealed, but none of the sons of men knew where he was concealed, where he had been and what had been done.

2Ele fazia todas suas ações com os Vigilantes e passava seus dias com os Santos.

2He was entirely employed with the holy ones, and with the watchers in his days.

3Assim, eu Enoque estava começando a benzer ao Senhor de majestade, ao Rei dos tempos, e hei aqui que o Vigilante do grande Santo me chamou, Enoque ó escrivão, e me disse:

3I, Enoch, praised the great Lord and King of peace.

4Enoque, escreva da justiça; vá aos Vigilantes do céu que abandonaram as alturas do céu, o eterno lugar santo e que se poluíram com as mulheres fazendo como fazem os filhos dos homens, e tomaram mulheres e forjaram uma grande obra de corrupção sobre a terra,

4And behold the watchers called me Enoch the scribe.

5e lhes faça saber que não haverá para eles paz nem redenção de seu pecado.

5Then the Lord said to me, Enoch, scribe of righteousness, go, and declare to the watchers of heaven, who have forsaken the exalted heaven, and their everlasting mansion, and have defiled them selves with women;

6E assim como gozaram por causa de seus filhos eles verão a morte de seus bem-amados e chorarão pela perda de seus filhos e suplicarão eternamente, mas não haverá para eles misericórdia nem paz.

6And have done actions like the sons of men by taking to themselves wives, and they have been greatly polluted on the earth;

7That on the earth they never shall obtain peace and forgiveness of sin, for they shall not rejoice in their offspring, they shall see the slaughter of their beloved, they shall lament over the destruction of their sons, and shall solicit for ever, but they shall not obtain mercy and peace.
