1 Enoque 104

1Lhes juro isso, no céu os anjos se lembram de vós para bem, em presença da Glória do Grande.

1This I swear unto you: in heaven the angels remember you for good, in the presence of the Glory of the Great One.

2Esperem, embora primeiro fostes afligidos com a desgraça e o sofrimento, agora brilharão como as luminárias do céu. Aparecerão e brilharão e a porta do céu se abrirá ante vós.

2Wait, for though at first ye were afflicted with disgrace and suffering, now ye shall shine as the lights of heaven; ye shall appear and shine, and the gate of heaven shall be opened before you.

3Com seu grito, gritem por justiça e ela aparecerá para vós, porque toda sua tribulação será visitada nos governantes e em todos os que ajudaram a quem lhes despoja.

3With your cry, cry out for judgement, and it shall appear unto you; for all your tribulation shall be visited upon the rulers, and upon all who helped those that despoiled you.

4Esperem e não renunciem a sua esperança porque desfrutarão de uma grande alegria, como os anjos no céu.

4Wait, and give not up your hope, for ye shall have great joy, even as the angels of heaven.

5O que devem fazer? Não terão que lhes esconder o dia do grande julgamento, não serão tomados por pecadores, o julgamento eterno cairá longe de vós para todas as gerações do mundo.

5What must ye do? Ye shall have no need to hide on the day of the great judgement, ye shall not be found among the sinners, and the eternal judgement shall fall far from you, for all the generations of the world.

6Agora não temam, OH justos, quando virem aos pecadores crescer em força e prosperidade em seus caminhos nem lhes associem com eles a não ser lhes mantenha afastados de sua violência, porque vós serão sócios das hostes dos céus.

6Now fear not, O ye righteous, when ye see the sinners grow strong and prosper in their ways, neither be their companions, but keep yourselves far from their violence, for ye shall become companions of the hosts of heaven.

7Embora vós pecadores digam: Nenhum de nossos pecados deve ser investigado nem registrado, entretanto seus pecados são cotados todos os dias.

7Though ye sinners say, None of our sins shall be searched out nor recorded, yet your sins are counted every day.

8Agora lhes mostro que a luz e as trevas, o dia e a noite vêm sobre vós.

8Now I show unto you that light and darkness, day and night, come upon you all.

9Não sejam ímpios em seus corações, não mintam nem alterem a palavra da verdade, não acusem de mentirosa à palavra do Santo e do Grande, não tomem em conta a seus ídolos porque todas suas mentiras e impiedades não lhes serão imputadas como justiça mas sim como um grande pecado.

9Be not wicked in your hearts, lie not, neither alter the word of truth, nor accuse the word of the Holy and Great One of falsehood, nor set store by your idols, for all your lies and impieties shall not be reckoned unto you as righteousness, but as a great sin.

10Agora sei este mistério: os pecadores alterarão e desnaturalizarão em muitas formas a palavra de verdade e proferirão palavras iníquas, mentirão e inventarão grandes falsidades e escreverão livros sobre suas palavras.

10Now I know this mystery: sinners shall alter and pervert the word of truth in many ways, and shall utter wicked words, and shall lie, and invent great falsehoods, and write books concerning their own words.

11Entretanto se eles escreverem verdadeiramente toda minha palavra em seus idiomas e se não alterarem nem abreviam minhas palavras, mas sim escrevem tudo segundo a verdade, todo isso o atestarei de primeiro em favor deles.

11But if they write down truly all my words in their own tongues, and neither alter nor abridge my words, but write all things according to the truth, I will bear witness of all this beforehand on their behalf.

12Sei outro mistério: as escrituras serão dadas aos justos e aos sábios para comunicar alegria, retidão e muita sabedoria.

12I know another mystery: the scriptures shall be given to the righteous and to the wise, to bring joy, righteousness, and much wisdom.

13As escrituras lhes serão dadas, eles acreditarão e se regozijarão nelas; alegrarão-se todos os justos ao aprender delas todos os caminhos de justiça.

13The scriptures shall be given unto them; they shall believe and rejoice in them, and all the righteous shall be glad, learning from them all the ways of righteousness.
