1Nesses dias em um mesmo lugar serão castigados juntos os pais e seus filhos, e os irmãos um com outro cairão na morte até que corra um rio com seu sangue.

1In those days when he shall bring upon you ardent fire, where will you fly, and where will you be secure?

2Porque um homem não poderá impedir a sua mão que assassine a seu filho e a seu neto, nem o pecador poderá impedir a sua mão que assassine a seu querido irmão, do amanhecer até que o sol se oculte, eles se degolarão entre si.

2And when he sends forth his word against you, are you not astonished and afraid?

3O cavalo avançará até que seu peito se banhe em sangue e o carro até que sua parte superior seja inundada.

3All the luminaries are moved with great fear, and the whole earth is astonished, while it trembles, and suffers anxiety.

4Nesses dias os anjos descenderão em um sítio escondido, reunirão em só lugar a todos os que têm feito chegar o pecado e nesse dia do julgamento o Altíssimo se levantará para sentenciar o grande julgamento em meio dos pecadores.

4All the angels perform the commands which they have received, and desire to be concealed from the presence of the great glory, while the children of the earth tremble, and are agitated.

5Para todos os justos e os Santos Ele designará Vigilantes de entre os Santos anjos, eles lhes guardarão como à menina de um olho até que Ele extermine toda maldade e tudo pecado e se os justos dormirem um sonho comprido, não terão do que preocupar-se.

5But you ye sinners are execrable for ever, for you there shall be no peace.

6Então os filhos da terra observarão a sabedoria em segurança e entenderão todas as palavras deste livro e reconhecerão que a riqueza não pode salvar os da ruína de seu pecado.

6Fear not ye souls of the righteous, but hope for the day of your death in righteousness, and be not sorrowful, because in great trouble, with groaning, lamentation, and sorrow, your souls descend to the repository of the dead, for in your lives your bodies have not received according to your goodness, but in the days in which you existed, many more sinners existed, in the days of execration and punishment.

7Desgraça para vós se no dia da terrível angustia atormenta aos justos ou os queimam com fogo, pois serão compensados de acordo com suas obras!

7And when you die, the sinners say concerning you, As we die the righteous die: what advantage have they in their works? Behold like us they die in sorrow, and in darkness. What is their superiority before us? Henceforward we are equal, and from hence what will they obtain and what will they see forever? For behold they are dead, and from this time they never will again perceive the light. I say unto you ye sinners, Ye have been satisfied with meat, and drink, with spoil of men, with robbery, and sin, with the acquisition of wealth, and the sight of good days, but have you not seen the righteous, their end is in peace, because no oppression is found in them, even to the day of their death. They perish, and are as if they were not, while their souls descend in trouble to the repository of the dead.

8Desgraça para vós duros de coração que velam para planejar a maldade, porque o terror se apoderará de vós e ninguém lhes ajudará!

9Desgraça para vós pecadores por causa das palavras de suas bocas e das obras de suas mãos, as quais sua maldade forjou; em umas chamas ardentes piores que o fogo, queimarão-lhes!

10Agora, saibam que para Ele, os anjos do céu investigarão suas ações, do sol, a lua e as estrelas em referência a seu pecado, porque sobre a terra já executou o julgamento sobre os justos;

11mas Ele acrescentará como testemunho contra vós toda nuvem, neblina, rocio ou chuva que estarão impedidos para descender sobre vós e porão atenção a seus pecados.

12Agora lhe dê-em presentes à chuva a ver se não se nega a descender sobre vós! Quando aceitou o rocio oro e a prata para descender?

13Quando caírem sobre vós a geada e a neve com seus calafrios e todas as tormentas de neve com suas calamidades, nesses dias não poderão lhes manter ante eles.
