1 Enoque 1

1Palavras de bênção com as que benzeu Enoque aos eleitos justos que viverão no dia da tribulação, quando serão rechaçados todos os malvados e ímpios, enquanto os justos serão salvos. Enoque, homem justo a quem com Deus foi revelada uma visão do Santíssimo e do céu pronunciou seu oráculo

1The word of the blessing of Enoch, by which he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to live in the time of tribulation, to the rejection of all the wicked and ungodly. Enoch a righteous man, who was with God, answered and spoke, when his eyes were open, and he saw a holy vision in the heavens. This the angels shewed me.

2e disse: a visão do Santo dos céus foi revelada e ouvi todas as palavras dos Vigilantes e dos Santos e porque as escutei aprendi tudo deles e compreendi que não falarei para esta geração senão para uma longínqua que está por vir.

2From them I heard all things, and understood what I saw, that which will not be done in this generation, but in a generation which is to come at a future time, on account of the elect.

3É a respeito de quão eleitos falo e por causa deles que pronuncio meu oráculo: o Único Grande Santo virá desde sua morada.

3On their account I spoke and talked with him, who will then go forth from his mansion, the holy and mighty One, the God of this world.

4O Deus Eterno andará sobre a terra, sobre o monte Sinai aparecerá com seu grande exército e surgirá na força de seu poder desde o altíssimo dos céus.

4Who will then walk upon Mount Sinai, appear with his hosts, and be revealed in the strength of his power from heaven.

5E todos os Vigilantes tremerão e serão castigados em lugares secretos e todas as extremidades da terra se racharão e o temor e um grande tremor se apoderarão deles até os confins da terra.

5All shall be afraid, and the watchers shall be terrified.

6As altas montanhas se racharão e derrubarão e as colinas se rebaixarão e fundirão, como a cera ante a chama.

6Great fear and trembling shall seize them, even to the ends of the earth, the lofty mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills depressed, and melt like a honey comb in the fire, the earth shall be overflowed, and all which is upon it shall perish, when judgment shall come upon all, even upon the righteous.

7E a terra se dividirá e tudo o que está sobre a terra perecerá e haverá um juízo sobre todos.

7But to them he will give peace, he will save the elect, and towards them be merciful.

8Mas com os justos Ele fará a paz e protegerá aos eleitos e sobre eles recairá a clemência e todos eles pertencerão a Deus, serão ditosos e benditos, ajudará-os a todos e para eles brilhará a luz de Deus.

8So then all shall be made happy and blessed by God, and the splendour of God shall them enlighten.
