1 Crônicas 4

1Os filhos de Judá foram: Perez, Hezrom, Carmi, Hur, e Sobal.

1The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal. {Carmi: also called, Chelubai or Caleb}

2E Reaías, filho de Sobal gerou a Jaate, e Jaate gerou a Aumai e a Laade; estas são as famílias dos zoratitas.

2And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These {are} the families of the Zorathites. {Reaiah: or, Haroeh}

3E estes foram os filhos do pai de Etã: Jizreel, Isma e Idbas; e era o nome de sua irmã Hazelelponi.

3And these {were of} the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister {was} Hazelelponi:

4E mais Penuel, pai de Gedor, e Ezer, pai de Husá; estes foram os filhos de Hur, o primogênito de Efrata, pai de Belém.

4And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These {are} the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem.

5E tinha Asur, pai de Tecoa, duas mulheres: Helá e Naará.

5And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.

6E Naará deu à luz a Auzão, e a Hefer, e a Temeni, e a Haastari; estes foram os filhos de Naará.

6And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These {were} the sons of Naarah.

7E os filhos de Helá: Zerete, Izar e Etnã.

7And the sons of Helah {were}, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan.

8E Coz gerou a Anube e a Zobeba e as famílias de Aarel, filho de Harum.

8And Coz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.

9E foi Jabez mais ilustre do que seus irmãos; e sua mãe deu-lhe o nome de Jabez, dizendo: Porquanto com dores o dei à luz.

9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. {Jabez: that is, Sorrowful}

10Porque Jabez invocou o Deus de Israel, dizendo: Se me abençoares muitíssimo, e meus termos ampliares, e a tua mão for comigo, e fizeres que do mal não seja afligido! E Deus lhe concedeu o que lhe tinha pedido.

10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep {me} from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. {Oh...: Heb. If thou wilt, etc} {keep...: Heb. do me}

11E Quelube, irmão de Suá, gerou a Meir; este é o pai de Estom.

11And Chelub the brother of Shuah begat Mehir, which {was} the father of Eshton.

12E Estom gerou a Bete-Rafa, a Pasea, e a Teina, pai de Ir-Naás; estes foram os homens de Reca.

12And Eshton begat Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Irnahash. These {are} the men of Rechah. {Irnahash: or, the city of Nahash}

13E foram os filhos de Quenaz: Otniel e Seraías; o filho de Otniel: Hatate.

13And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath. {Hathath...: or, Hathath, and Meonothai, who begat, etc}

14E Meonotai gerou a Ofra, e Seraías gerou a Joabe, pai dos do vale dos artífices; porque os dali eram artífices.

14And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen. {valley: or, inhabitants of the valley} {Charashim: that is, craftsmen} {Hathath...: or, Hathath, and Meonothai, who begat, etc}

15E foram os filhos de Calebe, filho de Jefoné: Iru, Elá e Naã; e o filho de Elá: Quenaz.

15And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz. {even Kenaz: or, Uknaz}

16E os filhos de Jealelel: Zife, Zifa, Tiria e Asareel.

16And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.

17E os filhos de Ezra: Jeter, Merede, Efer, e Jalom; e teve mais a Miriã, e Samai, e Isbá, pai de Estemoa.

17And the sons of Ezra {were}, Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

18E sua mulher, Judia, deu à luz a Jerede, pai de Gedor, e a Héber, pai de Socó, e a Jecutiel, pai de Zanoa; e estes foram os filhos de Bitia, filha de Faraó, que Merede tomou.

18And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these {are} the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took. {Jehudijah: or, the Jewess}

19E foram os filhos da mulher de Hodias, irmã de Naã: Abiqueila, o garmita, Estemoa, o maacatita.

19And the sons of {his} wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite. {Hodiah: or, Jehudijah, mentioned before}

20E os filhos de Simeão: Amom, Rina, Bene-Hanã, e Tilom; e os filhos de Isi: Zoete e Bene-Zoete.

20And the sons of Shimon {were}, Amnon, and Rinnah, Benhanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi {were}, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.

21Os filhos de Selá, filho de Judá: Er, pai de Leca, e Lada, pai de Maressa, e as famílias da casa dos que fabricavam linho fino, em casa de Asbéia.

21The sons of Shelah the son of Judah {were}, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,

22Como também Joquim, e os homens de Cozeba, e Joás, e Sarafe (que dominaram sobre os moabitas), e Jasubi-Leém; porém estas coisas já são antigas.

22And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. And {these are} ancient things.

23Estes foram oleiros, e habitavam nas hortas e nos cerrados; estes ficaram ali com o rei na sua obra.

23These {were} the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.

24Os filhos de Simeão foram Nemuel, Jamim, Jaribe, Zerá, e Saul,

24The sons of Simeon {were}, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, {and} Shaul: {Nemuel: or, Jemuel} {Jarib, Zerah: or, Jachin Zohar}

25Cujo filho foi Salum, de quem foi filho Mibsão, de quem foi filho Misma.

25Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

26E os filhos de Misma foram: Hamuel, de quem foi filho Zacur, de quem foi filho Simei.

26And the sons of Mishma; Hamuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.

27E Simei teve dezesseis filhos, e seis filhas, porém seus irmãos não tiveram muitos filhos; e toda a sua família não se multiplicou tanto como as dos filhos de Judá.

27And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah. {like...: Heb. unto}

28E habitaram em Berseba, e em Moladá, e em Hazar-Sual,

28And they dwelt at Beersheba, and Moladah, and Hazarshual,

29E em Bila, e em Ezém, e em Tolade,

29And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad, {Bilhah: or, Balah} {Tolad: or, Eltolad}

30E em Betuel, e em Hormá, e em Ziclague,

30And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

31E em Bete-Marcabote, e em Hazar-Susim, e em Bete-Biri, e em Saaraim; estas foram as suas cidades, até que Davi reinou.

31And at Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusim, and at Bethbirei, and at Shaaraim. These {were} their cities unto the reign of David. {Hazarsusim: or, Hazarsusah}

32E foram as suas aldeias: Etã, Aim, Rimom, Toquém, e Asã, cinco cidades,

32And their villages {were}, Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities: {Etam: or, Ether}

33E todas as suas aldeias, que estavam em redor destas cidades, até Baal. Estas foram as suas habitações e suas genealogias.

33And all their villages that {were} round about the same cities, unto Baal. These {were} their habitations, and their genealogy. {Baal: or, Baalathbeer} {their genealogy: or, as they divided themselves by nations among them}

34Porém Mesobabe, e Janleque e Josa, filho de Amazias,

34And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,

35E Joel, e Jeú, filho de Josibias, filho de Seraías, filho de Asiel,

35And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,

36E Elioenai e Jaacobá, Jesoaías, Asaías, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaias,

36And Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,

37E Ziza, filho de Sifi, filho de Alom, filho de Jedaías, filho de Sinri, filho de Semaías;

37And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;

38Estes, registrados por seus nomes, foram príncipes nas suas famílias; e as famílias de seus pais se multiplicaram abundantemente.

38These mentioned by {their} names {were} princes in their families: and the house of their fathers increased greatly. {mentioned: Heb. coming}

39E chegaram até à entrada de Gedor, ao oriente do vale, a buscar pasto para os seus rebanhos.

39And they went to the entrance of Gedor, {even} unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

40E acharam pasto fértil e terra espaçosa, e quieta, e descansada; porque os de Cão haviam habitado ali antes.

40And they found fat pasture and good, and the land {was} wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for {they} of Ham had dwelt there of old.

41Estes, pois, que estão descritos por seus nomes, vieram nos dias de Ezequias, rei de Judá, e derrubaram as tendas e habitações dos que se acharam ali, e as destruíram totalmente até o dia de hoje, e habitaram em seu lugar; porque ali havia pasto para os seus rebanhos.

41And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because {there was} pasture there for their flocks.

42Também deles, dos filhos de Simeão, quinhentos homens foram às montanhas de Seir; levaram por cabeças a Pelatias, e a Nearias, e a Refaías, e a Uziel, filhos de Isi.

42And {some} of them, {even} of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.

43E feriram o restante dos que escaparam dos amalequitas, e habitaram ali até o dia de hoje.

43And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.
