1 Coríntios 15

1Também vos notifico, irmãos, o evangelho que já vos tenho anunciado; o qual também recebestes, e no qual também permaneceis.

1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2Pelo qual também sois salvos se o retiverdes tal como vo-lo tenho anunciado; se não é que crestes em vão.

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. {keep...: or, hold fast} {what: Gr. by what speech}

3Porque primeiramente vos entreguei o que também recebi: que Cristo morreu por nossos pecados, segundo as Escrituras,

3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4E que foi sepultado, e que ressuscitou ao terceiro dia, segundo as Escrituras.

4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5E que foi visto por Cefas, e depois pelos doze.

5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6Depois foi visto, uma vez, por mais de quinhentos irmãos, dos quais vive ainda a maior parte, mas alguns já dormem também.

6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7Depois foi visto por Tiago, depois por todos os apóstolos.

7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8E por derradeiro de todos me apareceu também a mim, como a um abortivo.

8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. {one...: or, an abortive}

9Porque eu sou o menor dos apóstolos, que não sou digno de ser chamado apóstolo, pois que persegui a igreja de Deus.

9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10Mas pela graça de Deus sou o que sou; e a sua graça para comigo não foi vã, antes trabalhei muito mais do que todos eles; todavia não eu, mas a graça de Deus, que está comigo.

10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which {was bestowed} upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11Então, ou seja eu ou sejam eles, assim pregamos e assim haveis crido.

11Therefore whether {it were} I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

12Ora, se se prega que Cristo ressuscitou dentre os mortos, como dizem alguns dentre vós que não há ressurreição de mortos?

12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13E, se não há ressurreição de mortos, também Cristo não ressuscitou.

13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14E, se Cristo não ressuscitou, logo é vã a nossa pregação, e também é vã a vossa fé.

14And if Christ be not risen, then {is} our preaching vain, and your faith {is} also vain.

15E assim somos também considerados como falsas testemunhas de Deus, pois testificamos de Deus, que ressuscitou a Cristo, ao qual, porém, não ressuscitou, se, na verdade, os mortos não ressuscitam.

15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16Porque, se os mortos não ressuscitam, também Cristo não ressuscitou.

16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17E, se Cristo não ressuscitou, é vã a vossa fé, e ainda permaneceis nos vossos pecados.

17And if Christ be not raised, your faith {is} vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18E também os que dormiram em Cristo estão perdidos.

18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19Se esperamos em Cristo só nesta vida, somos os mais miseráveis de todos os homens.

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20Mas de fato Cristo ressuscitou dentre os mortos, e foi feito as primícias dos que dormem.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, {and} become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21Porque assim como a morte veio por um homem, também a ressurreição dos mortos veio por um homem.

21For since by man {came} death, by man {came} also the resurrection of the dead.

22Porque, assim como todos morrem em Adão, assim também todos serão vivificados em Cristo.

22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23Mas cada um por sua ordem: Cristo as primícias, depois os que são de Cristo, na sua vinda.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24Depois virá o fim, quando tiver entregado o reino a Deus, ao Pai, e quando houver aniquilado todo o império, e toda a potestade e força.

24Then {cometh} the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25Porque convém que reine até que haja posto a todos os inimigos debaixo de seus pés.

25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26Ora, o último inimigo que há de ser aniquilado é a morte.

26The last enemy {that} shall be destroyed {is} death.

27Porque todas as coisas sujeitou debaixo de seus pés. Mas, quando diz que todas as coisas lhe estão sujeitas, claro está que se excetua aquele que lhe sujeitou todas as coisas.

27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under {him, it is} manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28E, quando todas as coisas lhe estiverem sujeitas, então também o mesmo Filho se sujeitará àquele que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.

28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

29Doutra maneira, que farão os que se batizam pelos mortos, se absolutamente os mortos não ressuscitam? Por que se batizam eles então pelos mortos?

29Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

30Por que estamos nós também a toda a hora em perigo?

30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

31Eu protesto que cada dia morro, gloriando-me em vós, irmãos, por Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.

31I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. {your: some read, our}

32Se, como homem, combati em Éfeso contra as bestas, que me aproveita isso, se os mortos não ressuscitam? Comamos e bebamos, que amanhã morreremos.

32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. {after...: or, to speak after the manner of men}

33Não vos enganeis: as más conversações corrompem os bons costumes.

33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34Vigiai justamente e não pequeis; porque alguns ainda não têm o conhecimento de Deus; digo-o para vergonha vossa.

34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak {this} to your shame.

35Mas alguém dirá: Como ressuscitarão os mortos? E com que corpo virão?

35But some {man} will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

36Insensato! o que tu semeias não é vivificado, se primeiro não morrer.

36{Thou} fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37E, quando semeias, não semeias o corpo que há de nascer, mas o simples grão, como de trigo, ou de outra qualquer semente.

37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other {grain}:

38Mas Deus dá-lhe o corpo como quer, e a cada semente o seu próprio corpo.

38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39Nem toda a carne é uma mesma carne, mas uma é a carne dos homens, e outra a carne dos animais, e outra a dos peixes e outra a das aves.

39All flesh {is} not the same flesh: but {there is} one {kind of} flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, {and} another of birds.

40E há corpos celestes e corpos terrestres, mas uma é a glória dos celestes e outra a dos terrestres.

40{There are} also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial {is} one, and the {glory} of the terrestrial {is} another.

41Uma é a glória do sol, e outra a glória da lua, e outra a glória das estrelas; porque uma estrela difere em glória de outra estrela.

41{There is} one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for {one} star differeth from {another} star in glory.

42Assim também a ressurreição dentre os mortos. Semeia-se o corpo em corrupção; ressuscitará em incorrupção.

42So also {is} the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43Semeia-se em ignomínia, ressuscitará em glória. Semeia-se em fraqueza, ressuscitará com vigor.

43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44Semeia-se corpo natural, ressuscitará corpo espiritual. Se há corpo natural, há também corpo espiritual.

44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45Assim está também escrito: O primeiro homem, Adão, foi feito em alma vivente; o último Adão em espírito vivificante.

45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam {was made} a quickening spirit.

46Mas não é primeiro o espiritual, senão o natural; depois o espiritual.

46Howbeit that {was} not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47O primeiro homem, da terra, é terreno; o segundo homem, o Senhor, é do céu.

47The first man {is} of the earth, earthy: the second man {is} the Lord from heaven.

48Qual o terreno, tais são também os terrestres; e, qual o celestial, tais também os celestiais.

48As {is} the earthy, such {are} they also that are earthy: and as {is} the heavenly, such {are} they also that are heavenly.

49E, assim como trouxemos a imagem do terreno, assim traremos também a imagem do celestial.

49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50E agora digo isto, irmãos: que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o reino de Deus, nem a corrupção herdar a incorrupção.

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51Eis aqui vos digo um mistério: Na verdade, nem todos dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados;

51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52Num momento, num abrir e fechar de olhos, ante a última trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos ressuscitarão incorruptíveis, e nós seremos transformados.

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53Porque convém que isto que é corruptível se revista da incorruptibilidade, e que isto que é mortal se revista da imortalidade.

53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal {must} put on immortality.

54E, quando isto que é corruptível se revestir da incorruptibilidade, e isto que é mortal se revestir da imortalidade, então cumprir-se-á a palavra que está escrita: Tragada foi a morte na vitória.

54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55Onde está, ó morte, o teu aguilhão? Onde está, ó inferno, a tua vitória?

55O death, where {is} thy sting? O grave, where {is} thy victory? {grave: or, hell}

56Ora, o aguilhão da morte é o pecado, e a força do pecado é a lei.

56The sting of death {is} sin; and the strength of sin {is} the law.

57Mas graças a Deus que nos dá a vitória por nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.

57But thanks {be} to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sede firmes e constantes, sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, sabendo que o vosso trabalho não é vão no Senhor.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
