1Se, porém, alguns desobedecerem às palavras faladas por ele através de nós, saibam que estarão envolvidos em transgressão e perigo não pequeno.

1If, however, some disobey the words spoken by him through us, let them know that they will be involved in transgression and no small danger.

2Mas nós seremos inocentes deste pecado e pediremos com súplica diligente e insistência que o Criador de todas as coisas guarde inviolável o número contado de seus eleitos em todo o mundo.

2But we shall be innocent of this sin and will ask with diligent supplication and insistence that the Creator of all things keep inviolable the counted number of his elect in all the world.

3Através de seu amado Filho, Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor, pelo qual nos chamou das trevas à luz, da ignorância para o conhecimento da glória de seu nome.

3Through his beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, by whom he called us from darkness to light, from ignorance to the knowledge of the glory of his name.

4Para esperarmos em teu nome, que é a origem de toda criação.

4To hope in your name, which is the origin of all creation.
