1Porque chamei e não obedecestes, estendi palavras e não atendestes; mas anulastes meus conselhos e desprezastes minhas repreensões.
1Because I called and you did not obey, I extended words and you did not attend; but you nullified my counsels and despised my reproofs.
2Portanto, também eu rirei de vossa destruição e me alegrarei quando a ruína vos achar.
2Therefore, I also will laugh at your destruction and will rejoice when ruin comes upon you.
3Quando a perturbação vos sobrevir de repente, e a derrubada como tempestade, ou quando a tribulação e o cerco vierem sobre vós.
3When disturbance comes upon you suddenly, and overthrow like a storm, or when tribulation and siege come upon you.
4Porque será que quando me invocardes, não vos ouvirei; os maus me buscarão e não me acharão.
4For it shall be that when you call upon me, I will not hear you; the wicked shall seek me and shall not find me.
