1Vedes, amados, quão grande e maravilhoso é o amor, e sua perfeição não pode ser descrita.
1You see, beloved, how great and wonderful is love, and its perfection cannot be described.
2Quem é digno de ser encontrado nele, senão aqueles a quem Deus julgar dignos?
2Who is worthy to be found in it, except those whom God shall judge worthy?
3Oremos, portanto, e peçamos de sua misericórdia, que sejamos encontrados no amor, sem facções humanas, irrepreensíveis.
3Let us pray, therefore, and ask of his mercy, that we may be found in love, without human factions, blameless.
4Todas as gerações desde Adão até este dia passaram; mas os que foram aperfeiçoados no amor pela graça de Deus têm um lugar entre os piedosos, os quais serão manifestados na visitação do reino de Cristo.
4All the generations from Adam to this day have passed away; but those who were perfected in love by the grace of God have a place among the pious, who shall be manifested at the visitation of the kingdom of Christ.
