1Aquele que tem amor em Cristo guarde os mandamentos de Cristo.

1He who has love in Christ, let him keep the commandments of Christ.

2Quem pode descrever o vínculo do amor de Deus? Quem é capaz de contar a grandeza de sua beleza?

2Who can describe the bond of the love of God? Who is able to tell the greatness of its beauty?

3A altura a que o amor nos eleva é indescritível.

3The height to which love raises us is indescribable.

4O amor nos une a Deus; o amor cobre multidão de pecados; o amor tudo suporta, é paciente em tudo.

4Love unites us to God; love covers a multitude of sins; love bears all things, is patient in all things.
