1Tomai a carta do bem-aventurado apóstolo Paulo. Que vos escreveu ele no princípio da pregação do evangelho?

1Take the letter of the blessed apostle Paul. What did he write to you at the beginning of the preaching of the gospel?

2Verdadeiramente, sob a inspiração do Espírito, vos escreveu acerca de si mesmo, de Cefas e de Apolo, porque também então fazíeis partidos.

2Truly, under the inspiration of the Spirit, he wrote to you concerning himself, Cephas and Apollos, because also then you were making parties.

3Mas aquela divisão vos trouxe menos pecado. Porque fazíeis partidos por apóstolos de boa reputação e por um homem aprovado por eles.

3But that division brought you less sin. For you were making parties for apostles of good reputation and for a man approved by them.

4Mas agora considerai quem vos perverteu e diminuiu a reputação do vosso renomado amor fraternal.

4But now consider who has perverted you and diminished the reputation of your renowned brotherly love.
