1 Clemente 41

1Cada um de nós, irmãos, em sua própria ordem dê graças a Deus, mantendo boa consciência, sem transgredir a regra definida de seu ministério, em reverência.

1Let each of us, brethren, in his own order give thanks to God, keeping a good conscience, not transgressing the defined rule of his ministry, in reverence.

2Não em todo lugar são oferecidos os sacrifícios contínuos, ou os votivos, ou os pelo pecado e pela transgressão, mas somente em Jerusalém.

2Not everywhere are offered the continual sacrifices, or the votive, or those for sin and for transgression, but only in Jerusalem.

3E ali também não em todo lugar, mas diante do santuário, junto ao altar.

3And there also not in every place, but before the sanctuary, at the altar.

4Os que fazem qualquer coisa contrária ao dever para com ele recebem a morte como penalidade.

4Those who do anything contrary to the duty toward him receive death as the penalty.
