1Aproximemo-nos, portanto, dele em santidade de alma, levantando a ele mãos puras e imaculadas.

1Let us approach him, therefore, in holiness of soul, lifting up to him pure and undefiled hands.

2Amando nosso bondoso e misericordioso Pai, que nos fez a porção de sua escolha.

2Loving our kind and merciful Father, who made us the portion of his choice.

3Porque assim está escrito: Quando o Altíssimo dividiu as nações, quando dispersou os filhos de Adão, fixou os limites das nações segundo o número dos anjos de Deus.

3For thus it is written: When the Most High divided the nations, when he dispersed the sons of Adam, he fixed the limits of the nations according to the number of the angels of God.

4Sua porção tornou-se o Senhor seu Deus, Jacó a linha de sua herança de Israel.

4His portion became the Lord his God, Jacob the line of his inheritance of Israel.
