1 Clemente 23

1O Pai, que é misericordioso em todas as coisas e bondoso, tem compaixão dos que o temem.

1The Father, who is merciful in all things and kind, has compassion on those who fear him.

2E bondosa e amorosamente concede suas graças aos que se achegam a ele com mente simples.

2And kindly and lovingly grants his graces to those who approach him with a simple mind.

3Portanto, não sejamos de mente dúbia, nem nossa alma se iluda com a excelência e glória de suas promessas.

3Therefore let us not be double-minded, nor let our soul be deluded with the excellence and glory of his promises.

4Longe de nós o que está escrito: Miseráveis são os indecisos, os que duvidam em sua alma.

4Far from us is what is written: Wretched are the undecided, who doubt in their soul.
