1A humildade e a submissão de tantos homens tão grandes e tão renomados tornaram melhores não apenas a nós, mas também às gerações antes de nós.

1The humility and submission of so many men so great and so renowned have made better not only us, but also the generations before us.

2E a todos os que receberam seus oráculos em temor e verdade.

2And all who received his oracles in fear and truth.

3Tendo tantos exemplos ilustres, voltemo-nos novamente à paz.

3Having so many illustrious examples, let us turn again to peace.

4Olhemos fixamente para o Pai e Criador de todo o universo.

4Let us look steadfastly to the Father and Creator of the whole universe.
